Videos We Make Here: Recruiter.com’s CNBC Commercial
Employers are struggling to hire talent. The current “worker shortage” is really about a collective reassessment of labor values in the US. Workers have more power than ever, but that’s making it hard for companies and hiring managers to find the talent they need right now.
In this installment of Videos We Make Here, we’ll look at a quick, snappy video we made for our friends at Recruiter.com.
The Ask: Make a cool commercial for Recruiter.com that pushes its services for the new world of remote work.
Who is Recruiter.com?
Recruiter.com is a platform for hiring and getting hired. Job seekers can sign up to be found by recruiters and companies can sign up to find job candidates faster and easier.
How We Did It
Set a tone: We decided to go incredibly positive with color and video. I don’t know if you’ve talked to a hiring manager in the last 12 months, but they’re all, like, crazy tired. We wanted to send the message that though things are tough right now, we have a positive outlook on the talent acquisition market. Quick cuts, cool colors.
Be clear about the value proposition: We didn’t have a lot of time (the video is just 30 seconds), so we used voiceover to name the name benefit Recruiter.com offers to its customers: The ability to candidates faster for remote and hybrid workplaces.
Show ’em what you’re made of: There’s no need to go deep into product attributes with this project—that’s for another video. The goal of this clip is to show potential customers that Recruiter.com has a modern, sleek, and user-friendly interface, so we provided a little visual teaser.
Why This Campaign is So Important
This video is about a simple solution to a big problem.
Some challenges that feel huge, like needing to hire a lot of new employees during a worker shortage, can be solved quite simply. By keeping it short and sweet—remember, these people don’t have a lot of time—we can help employers see the value in using Recruiter.com to scale their remote workforces.
