Videos We Make Here: LeagueApps

At Uncubed Studios, we work with employers who need to send a clear message. We’re pretty stoked about our recent partnership with a unique sports tech company, and we thought we’d share a few insights if you’re wondering how our style of videos can elevate your products, employees, and brand awareness.

Uncubed Studios collaborated with LeagueApps, a company that builds and designs management platforms for youth and local sports organizers, to engage their core customer base and attract new customers in a fun and innovative way.

LeagueApps had three main goals for the project:

  1. Emphasize the product’s core pillars: launch, promote, manage, and innovate

  2. Target specific sports organizers: baseball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, hockey, and basketball

  3. Put the world of sports tech on notice that they’re a platform made by organizers, for organizers, and they’re all about building up their athle-tech community

So we helped them kick things off by communicating this message:

LeagueApps is a one-stop shop for league organizers by league organizers—the unsung heroes that display their talents off the field—who need a platform that can handle the grind of organizing, from collecting payments to communicating with players and parents.

Wait, this video is more product focused. I thought you were just an employer branding agency?

That’s right. Uncubed Studios does a lot more than just employer branding. In fact we’re really good at a lot of things, like making sure your customer-facing and candidate-facing brands work together. A little bit on that here

To accomplish this, the Uncubed team produced a suite of videos the company can use to promote their products to potential users and help current customers understand the features.

We developed original scripts, used crowdsourced images and video from LeagueApps customers, and paired it with positive, emotionally activating music that reflected their energetic and community-driven brand.

Not only does LeagueApps build and constantly refine its technology, they’ve also built a community of users so sports league organizers can connect with peers and grow professionally. It’s important to the company that users understand the breadth of capabilities, so we created a video that addresses that kind of innovation.

LeagueApps also wanted to target specific types of sports organizers, so we created videos tailored to each target group. Here’s an example of a product video aimed at baseball league organizers:

In addition to branded videos for general marketing purposes, these assets can be used in an employer branding suite to educate prospective employees about LeagueApps products and the problems they solve.
